Washington, D.C. – Today the Rainey Center Freedom Project is proud to present the findings of a national poll produced in partnership with Ragnar Research Partners showing that 1 in 5 likely Republican Primary Voters (RPVs) want more election security.
Ahead of the 2022 midterm election, this poll shows the importance of the need for voters to have trust in the electoral system.
“The Rainey Center Freedom Project is proud to publish the results of this poll, which demonstrates the importance of election security to likely Republican Primary Voters. Our democracy works best when voters trust in our country's institutions and addressing election security concerns will build trust in our electoral system,” said Rainey Center Freedom Project President Sarah Hunt.
Bartlett Cleland, Vice President, Policy, at the Joseph Rainey Center for Public Policy added that "Maintaining, and restoring, faith in our elections is critical to preserving and strengthening our democracy. No other issue could be more central to defending our American values. Unsurprisingly the American people agree, and agree with common sense, broadly-supported, reforms as the polling shows."
